In conjunction with the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation, the Labrador School Board, and the Mushuau Innu First Nation, the CURA project facilitated a 5-day workshop in writing children's literature in Innu-aimun.

The workshop was held in Sheshatshiu, in the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation Band Office.

A group of classroom assistants and teachers from Peenamin McKenzie School in Sheshatshiu, Teacher Aides from Mushuau Innu Natuashish School in Natuashish, and a couple other interested people participated in the workshop. Participants wrote and illustrated their own children's book.
