Verb endings (or suffixes) provide information on person, order, mode and tense. For conjunct and imperative orders, which do not have personal prefixes, the endings (or suffixes) indicate the person:

atussetau! let’s work! -tau = 1st person plural inclusive, imperative present

Transitive verbs contain thematic suffixes that appear immediately after the stem.
