Writing Workshop Books

A collection of 29 original children’s books, reflecting Innu places and activities, written by Innu Teachers and Classroom Assistants during workshops held in Natuashish and Sheshatshiu between 2008 and 2010 as part of the CURA Project Knowledge and Human Resources for Innu Language Development (later, the Innu Language Project) at Memorial University.

The printed books were published by Mamu Tshishkutamashutau – Innu Education in collaboration with the Innu Language Project at Memorial University between 2009 and 2015.

They were revised, recorded and adapted as read-alongs in 2022-2023.
